Micah Lambert

Campfire Picker

Originally from Rapid City, South Dakota, Micah was raised around folk, country, rock, blues and christian music. He is now a acoustic artist playing and writing similar genres that he was raised with. Music was an ever-present part of his upbringing, his father played acoustic guitar at youth groups and many other christian events / festivals.  His mother was a dance teacher who arranged performances around music the locals in the rural midwest would be interested in, such as: John Denver, Fleetwood Mac or Cat Stevens.

In his childhood Micah played the violin with a traveling Orchestra, where he performed in Australia, New Zealand and Hawaii. After returning from that tour Micah traded in his violin for an acoustic guitar. He taught himself how to play and he has been playing that guitar he affectionately calls “Connie” ever since.  Micah joined the US Air Force where he was stationed at Hurlburt Field, Florida and Ramstein, AFB Germany. While being stationed at those locations he served across the globe in support of numerous US and NATO operations. “Connie” has been with him playing and writing music about his adventures through all of those assignments.

Micah considers himself a campfire picker, telling stories to friends. His style and tone are similar to Tyler Childress, Zac Bryan, or Kenny Chesney.
